Aviso de Conroe Youth Soccer League (CYSL) Reunión de la Junta En Espagnol
Dear CYSL Parents and Members,
We know you have been concerned regarding Timberline Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) expulsion of CYSL and its effect on our children. We have been in office for only 12 days. During this time we have been trying to work with TYSA to resolve the expulsion issue. However, TYSA left us no options to resolve it by the expulsion date of May 14th.
Today, CYSL successfully requested and received a Temporary Restraining Order against TYSA, preventing TYSA from expelling CYSL from TYSA's association until a hearing can be held on May 25th between the parties.
This means that CYSL continues business as usual and in next steps we will have an opportunity to be heard on May 25th. We are hopeful that the expulsion will be removed altogether, without any disruption to CYSL, it's members, players, coaches and, most important of all, the children. On the TYSA link to the left, you will find the Judge's decision and the letter that was sent to TYSA.
To be clear, this action does not affect the finals in San Marcos this weekend. In fact, it prohibits any interference with CYSL teams at the finals. We also wish to take this opportunity to congratulate those players for their accomplishments and wish them all the best!
While we wish these results could have been achieved in another way, we are very appreciative of the decision of the court. This is one big step in the right direction for our children and the future of the Club.
Best Regards,
Tim Stoehr,
CYSL President
