

Dutch Lions FC is the select program that offers competitive soccer from ages 11-19. Tryouts are required to participate on the competitive teams, and held at the end of the spring season. Play-ups are those players whose skills are more advanced than their age bracket, and are allowed to play on an older aged bracket team. Authorization must be approved by the Director of Trainers, or by the President of the board AND with written approval by the parent or legal guardian of the player. As a competitive program, the Dutch Lions FC requires a commitment of both the players and the parents. Operating under CYSL, a non-profit organization, the required expenses incurred by Dutch Lions FC are financed through fees paid by parents to the Club. CYSL and the Board of Directors make every attempt to hold expenses down so that fees paid by members are kept as low as possible, while ensuring that enough money is available to achieve our goals of providing excellent training for our players. Yearly fees are established by the Board of and are based on the Clubs planned budgetary expenses for the coming year. Upon formation of any select team, both the parents and players are required to review and acknowledge the team policies and procedures which will be provided upon acceptance to the team. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Levels of play in TYSA are defined by STYSA. The overall purpose of each division is to equalize competition.
Division I is the highest level of competition in age brackets U11 through U19. These teams are administered and registered in the Eastern District Division I Association (EDDOA).
Super II is the next level of competition in age brackets U11 through U19. These teams are administered by the Eastern District Super II Group and register the players in this level of competition.
Division II is the third level of competition in age brackets U11 through U19. TYSA and other associations administer and register players in this level of competition.
Division III is the recreational league in age brackets U11 through U19. TYSA and other associations administer and register players in this level of competition.

The majority of the expenses incurred by Dutch Lions FC are financed through fees paid by parents to the Club. Dutch Lions FC is a nonprofit organization and the Board of Directors makes every attempt to hold expenses down so that fees paid by members are kept as low as possible, while ensuring that enough money is available to achieve our goals of providing excellent training for our players. Yearly fees are established by the Board of Directors every year, and are based on the Clubs planned budgetary expenses for the coming year.
Each player shall be responsible to timely pay, in accordance with the payment structures established by the Club, the appropriate Registration Fee and Club Fees for the program in which that player participates. All fees if you are on a payment plan shall be paid to team managers by the 7th of each month or player will not be permitted to participate in practice or games after the 10th. Payments shall not be tendered to trainers or any other persons without the express written consent of the Club. Registration Fees, Club Fees, and Uniform Costs are due after team formation. Failure to timely pay the registration fees will result in the player having their player card pulled. All Registration Fees are Non-Refundable. There are no refunds of Club Fees. All tournament entry fees are divided equally among all players on a team, regardless of participation by individual players.
